We landed after a red eye and were pretty much dead.. but of course we had to go out and make the most of our time! Of course we brought some Seattle weather with us and it was pouring rain! Luckily Russ & Daughters had only about a 10 minute wait though. Yummmm.

We got two types of salmon to try – Norwegian and Irish. Both delicious, but the Norwegian really brought out the tomatoes and brightness of the sandwich. It’s topped with scallion cream cheese, onions, and tomatoes. All freshly sliced and prepared fresh in front of your eyes.

Look at that juicy tomato!

Waiting outside for some Totto Ramen. Got there at a weird time (~3pm but hey 12pm our time) so our wait turned out to be only 20 minutes! It’s a small joint, so I’d recommend going in a small group. There’s another one that’s also nearby that I hear is larger.

Miso paitan with some corn added. That soft boiled egg is PERFECT. My noodles were a little different in the sense that they were a little more thin. The broth is creamy and delicious. The char siu was tender and melted in your mouth.

A close up of the pork paitan. This broth tasted even a little fishy and accompanied by different noodles (thicker) to help compliment the flavor.

Late night dinner – Prince Street Pizza. They serve by the slice or whole pie. We got the real deal NYC experience here. The guys working were pretty rude and just wanted you to get out of the area once you received your food. But hey, they make a pretty mean pizza. The pepps are top notch with crispy edges and thick cheesy slices.

Ended the night at a trendy rolled ice cream shop called 10 Below. They have rotating flavors they mix in their crepe like ice cream before it’s rolled up. It’s pretty cool – you can pick your toppings and it’s unlimited! I was a little bummed they didn’t have as much fruit options, but that’s okay. Fruity pebbles was delicious!
